Join us as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the STONEWALL Rebellion.  Gay Pride SA honors those members of the GLBT community who, in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969 stepped from the shadows in open refusal to be treated as second-class citizens.  A movement was underway that ultimately led an oppressed people to claim their rightful place at the table.  We honor those trailblazers that have paved the way.  There is much work to be done still.  Come out to the Main Ave Strip (1400 Block of N. Main Ave) on July 4, 2009 as Gay Pride SA celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the STONEWALL Rebellion.
